Abstract

This chapter presents a framework, albeit a preliminary one, that tries to alter the values underpinning our energy decisions. It argues that we need to start making energy decisions that promote availability, affordability, due process, good governance, prudence, intergenerational equity, intragenerational equity, and responsibility.
