This paper describes the design and implementation of a website devoted to automatic assessment of programming in Python. This server uses many technologies (Linux, Nginx, PostgreSQL, Django, PySandBox).We report a 3-month experimentation of this site within the learning process of computing as set in France in the syllabus for the first and second years of studies after the “Baccalauréat”. This kind of formative assessment enables the students to be active and to create emulation among them.
