O Ensino das Ciências Sociais no 1º e 2º graus

Abstract

Palestra proferida na Coordenação de Ensino e Normas Pedagógicas do Estado de São Paulo (cenp/sp), em 1985, no auge de uma das campanhas de inserção da disciplina Sociologia no currículo brasileiro. Este é um registro histórico de uma das participações do professor neste debate. Nesse texto, o autor reforça a importante função da Sociologia na escola, possibilitando que os estudantes questionem o instituído e pensem novas possibilidades de viver em sociedade.Lecture in the Department of Education and Pedagogical Standards of the State of São Paulo (cenp/sp) in 1985 at the height of a campaign for inclusion of the discipline Sociology in the Brazilian curriculum. This is a historical record of a teacher's participation in this debate. In this text the author stresses the important role of Sociology in school, allowing students to question and think up new possibilities of living in society.
