Biotreatment of wastewater in the dairy industry

Abstract

Resumen La finalidad principal del siguiente estudio es deliberar, estudiar y concluir las técnicas de los tratamientos más importantes aplicados en las aguas residuales de industrias de alimentos, en este caso en la industria láctea, para esto se analizan diversas tecnologías que se emplean en los tratamientos necesarios que tienen que sufrir las aguas residuales en esta industria utilizando los métodos fisicoquímicos y biológicos , así como también los microorganismos benéficos (MB) , microalgas , coagulantes entre otros. En cambio, la digestión anaerobia es la que se adapta con las características de dichas aguas, puesto a que posee más ventaja en comparación con los diferentes tratamientos en el menor crecimiento de biomasa y a un mayor grado de estabilización del mismo, Se pudo evidenciar que en las aguas residuales en empresas de esta índole exhiben presencia de aceites, grasas, amoniaco, solidos disueltos o suspendidos entre otros. Abstract The main purpose of the following study is to deliberate, study and conclude the techniques of the most important treatments applied in wastewater from food industries, in this case in the dairy industry, for these various technologies that are used in the necessary treatments are analyzed that wastewater has to suffer in this industry using physicochemical and biological methods, as well as beneficial microorganisms (MB), microalgae, coagulants among others. On the other hand, anaerobic digestion is the one that adapts to the characteristics of these waters, since it has more advantage compared to the different treatments in the lower biomass growth and a higher degree of stabilization of the same. The wastewater in companies of this nature show the presence of oils, fats, ammonia, dissolved or suspended solids, among others.
