Abstract

Steady knowledge production and a great innovative capability are cru- cial attributes, if not necessary prerequisites, that companies need to be and remain competitive on today’s market. The open innovation approach provides an oppor- tunity within this article to increase companies’ innovative capability. The article also deals with the question as to how intellectual capital can be measured in the innovation process.
