Abstract

The actual power demand of the electrical power distribution system (EPDS) can be minimized by integrating the green power generation (GPG) in the distribution system. This paper presents a new metaheuristics harmony search algorithm (MH-HSA) to obtain the finest location of GPG unit and its size in EPDS. This MH-HSA algorithm has been planned to diminish the actual power losses and enhance the voltage profile in the EPDS. The objectives are achieved without violating the voltage and radial constraints. The harmony search method is tested under five different cases to prove their effectiveness. The developed MH-HSA technology is practiced on the standard 33-bus EPDS. and the outcomes are encouraged.
