Abstract

Currently, the city of Popayán - Cauca (Colombia) has multiple difficulties in the mass public transport system, among which the lack of information on the routes to go from one place to another in the city, the overcrowding of the buses and the loss of time of the users, directly affecting the users. In order to provide timely information through the INNOTEK-MOBIL Project, a diagnosis of the inhabitants is proposed. With this information, in a first module, a web platform will be designed for managing the fleet of buses, drivers and passengers, applicable to public transport companies. The second module will interconnect various information screens located at strategic points in the city, which will display relevant information for the user. Finally, a mobile application will be designed, through which the user will be able to view the registration options, maps with routes, waiting times and advertising on their electronic device.
