Abstract

Di tengah perkembangan zaman dan arus percepatan teknologi yang semakin pesat, madrasah dituntut untuk senantiasa siap sedia meningkatkan mutu lembaga. Peningkatan mutu madrasah dilakukan dengan upaya menghadapi perubahan sebagai kondisi yang tidak dapat diprediksi secara pasti namun dapat diantisipasi dan dikendalikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan implementasi manajemen mutu perubahan mengacu pada siklus PPEPP yang meliputi penetapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, pengendalian dan penetapan sebagai strategi menghadapi perubahan menuju peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan untuk mengetahui langkah strategis madrasah dalam mewujudkan perubahan selaras dengan penerapan komponen mutu pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan kajian literatur berdasarkan kondisi realistis di lapangan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya peningkatan mutu di MAN 2 Ponorogo sebagai madrasah mahir teknologi dibuktikan dengan berbagai kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dengan basis teknologi serta prestasi-prestasi dan penghargaan yang berhasil diraih madrasah selama proses perubahan dilakukan. In the midst of the current development and the rapid of technology and science development, Islamic school (Madrasah) is required to improve the institution quality. The improvement of Islamic School (Madrasah) quality is carried out by dealing with the change as the unpredictable condition but it can be anticipated and controlled. This study aims to explain the implementation of the change of quality management which refers to PPEPP cycle which includes the arrangement, implementation, evaluation, control and determination, as the strategy to deal with the change to improve the education quality. This study is important because of the need to know the strategic action for Islamic School (Madrasah) in actualizing the change aligns with the implementation of education quality components. The research method which is applied in this study is descriptive qualitative which using the data collection technique such as interview, observation, and literature review according to the reality situation. The result of the study shows that there is an improvement of education quality at MAN 2 Ponorogo as the technology based Islamic School (Madrasah). It is proved by the activities in the school which is based on technology and the achievements or awards which is won by the school during the process of the change.
