Abstract

Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks (VANETs) is one of the components of ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) where all nodes in the network are autonomously self-manageable and self-organizable. Its establishment depends on the coordination of vehicles and additionally roadside units by which data is spread in the system. Recent years show that VANET network has been taken into consideration by automotive industry. However, every coin has always two faces, therefore VANET security must be also taken into consideration. The paper presents the survey in topic of security solutions for Denial of Service (DoS) attack in VANET.
