Second Language Acquisition in Children 4-5 Years Old at RA Manafiul Ulum Kudus. His study aims to describe how the acquisition of a second language in children aged 4-5 years in RA Manafiul Ulum Kudus. Inevitability for multilingual or bilingual society of the process of obtaining a second language, this is experienced by the majority of people in Indonesia who have a variety and variety of regional languages. Regional languages are the first language, while Indonesian is the second language. In accordance with the objectives and results to be achieved in the intended study, the approach chosen is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained from this study, that in the acquisition of a second language there are two processes, namely receptive and productive. Receptive poses are related to comprehension abilities. The productive process refers to the expression or publication of sentences. To develop these two language processes, RA Manafiul Ulum Kudus teacher uses attractive learning methods and techniques. Thematic methods used with a variety of techniques including; storytelling, gardening, serial pictures, and language games.
