Abstract

In this paper, we briefly review two independent studies: (1) an information-theoretic definition and constructions of non-malleable encryption, and (2) applications of information-theoretically secure tools for enhancing security of computationally secure cryptographic primitives. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
