Abstract

Responsible investment is a deliberate choice of pension funds, also in times of turmoil. This chapter reports on exploratory research into how pension funds are affected by the financial crises with respect to their approach to responsible investment. In general, better governance, regulations and transparency in the financial market are called for by the pension funds.
