Abstract

Election , collectively is an instrument embody sovereignty of people intend to create government and articulate absah of their opinions and also the interests of the people , the election is requisite at least for the democracy and held by choosing the house of representatives .Based on data the ballot of its election in 2014 in kabupaten gunungkidul so prosentase participation or presence of voters legislative elections by 2014 470.455 or 78.53 % of 591.600 DPT (election in the 2014) year. For the gunungkidul in the legislative elections and presidential election 2014 period , public participation is quite high between 73 % to 84 % in each subdistrict .Participation in the presence of voters in legislative elections the highest of 83 % the sub wonosari and presence of voters in legislative elections the lowest of 73,04 % the sub girisubo.
