Abstract

Geochemists have a wide variety of analytical instruments at their disposal to characterize the nature and composition of the atmosphere, aqueous solutions, rocks, minerals, and soil. Much of the progress in geochemistry has come from the enormous innovation in analytical techniques over the last century.
