Abstract

This paper proposes a new quality management scheme for the successful deployment of the mobile voice over internet protocol (VoIP) service. The proposed scheme can support the quality monitoring by measurement at any time with a software installed at every user terminal. As the first step toward the proposed scheme, a software is developed to measure the quality of the mobile VoIP service. The reliability of the developed software is verified by experiments in which the measurement results are compared between the developed software and the commercial proven softwares. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.
