Abstract

The following chapter attempts to trace the regional system across the Gulf Region and the broader Middle East in relation to its order, by elaborating on some of the most important patterns of regional dynamics and political processes, as well as major ideas and transnational core causes. In addition to tracing the regional system in retrospect, this chapter delivers outlooks in prospect.
