Abstract

The stability of linear neutral systems with distributed delays is studied in this paper. A new neutral and discrete delays decompostion Lyapunov functional method is proposed. Some stability conditions are derived. A numerical example illustrates that the stability criteria in this paper is less conservative than the existing ones. In addition, by using argumented Lyapunov functional, this method allows the coefficient matrix of the neutral term to have time-varying uncertainties. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
