Abstract

A characteristic medical team approach for patients has been practiced to use each specialty of all kinds of staff at Shizuoka Cancer Center Hospital which opened in September 2002. This is use of Interdisciplinary Teams, whose members are on equal terms, which are to be formed for patients’ needs and clinical problems. However, electronic medical records, make entries in, anytime, anywhere, even at the same time, are indispensable to do complete medical work smoothly using this team approach. © 2005, Japan Society for Head and Neck Cancer.
