Abstract

This paper proposes an efficient way of managing changes made in XML documents. To save the space required to store various versions and provide a faster processing time, it is essential to reduce the number of parent relations and timestamps that are maintained. To meet these requirements, this paper proposes an augmented tree and the sparse timestamp model (STM).
