Abstract

Currently, digital subtraction cervico-cerebral angiography (DSA) is seldom the first-line study to evaluate the vasculature of the neck or of the head and is usually performed after duplex ultrasound, CT angiography, or MR angiography, in cases where additional details or assessment is needed. Many times, DSA is obtained in the same setting just before the interventional endovascular treatment.
