Abstract

What are the common difficulties that face the respondents in the questionnaire implemented in this paper in terms of listening comprehension? [...]the paper aims to find the factors influencing English listening comprehension and the strategies to be taken that might improve students' listening comprehension. [...]bottom-up listening helps the listener use grammatical cues to organize the inputs into constituents, for example, in order to recognize that in the book which I lent you (the book) and (which I lent you) are major constituents rather than (the book which I) and (lent you). According to the data displayed above, dependence on tape recorder to learn English language skills is low. [...]using different learning methods should be inseparable part of the teacher's way of teaching English skills.
