Changing place of living results in being challenged by a foreign environment which exposes the body to stress and to different insects, bacteria, and viruses, in short, to new antigens. Migrating could mean a simple travel by car or plane but could also mean a strenuous journey by foot or boat through deserts and over water, being exposed to extreme physical and mental stress, being exploited and misused. This may have a profound influence on the whole body but certainly on the immune system. This chapter will focus on common bacterial dermatoses.
