PENERAPAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK DI KELAS 2 SD NEGERI PUJOKUSUMAN 1 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

This study aims to describe the disciplinary character education at SD Negeri Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta. Character education in modern times is an important thing that must be done and cannot be separated from everyday life. Disciplined character education is carried out in applying learning, namely: applying character education steps to students, the process of forming disciplinary character, building disciplinary character in students , the application of disciplinary character education to students in thematic learning. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were the 2nd grade students of SD Negeri Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta. Researchers limit the number of students who are used as research subjects. From this study, 28 of 112 parallel class students were taken from class 2B, namely class 2 A, B, C, and D. Data collection techniques used included interviews, observation, documentation. Based on the results of disciplinary character education research in grade 2 SD Negeri Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta. Disciplined character education in the thematic learning process and integrated into lesson plans that are carried out in learning activities every day at school. The role of the teacher in the formation of the disciplinary character of students at SD Negeri Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta is as a teacher, mentor, trainer and evaluator. The process of integrating character education is sought by the teacher through models and material that can be understood by students and applied in everyday life so that the process of forming disciplinary character can be achieved so that the teacher understands the character of each student in the learning process. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendidikan karakter disiplin di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta. Pendidikan karakter di zaman modern merupakan hal penting yang harus dilakukan dan tidak terlepas dalam kehidupan sehari–hari, Pendidikan karakter disiplin dilakukan dalam menerapkan pembelajaran yakni: menerapkan langkah-langka pendidikan karakter kepada peserta didik, proses pembentukan karakter disiplin, membangun karakter disiplin pada perserta didik, penerapan pendidikan karakter disiplin pada peserta didik dalam pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 2 SD Negeri Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta. Peneliti membatasi jumlah peserta didik yang dijadikan subjek penelitian. Dari penelitian ini diambil sampel kelas 2B sebanyak 28 dari 112 peserta didik kelas paralel yaitu kelas 2 A,B,C, dan D Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pendidikan karakter disiplin di kelas 2 SD Negeri Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta. Pendidikan karakter disiplin dalam proses pembelajaran tematik dan diintegrasikan ke dalam RPP yang dilaksanakan pada kegiatan pembelajaran setiap hari di sekolah. Peranan guru dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin peserta didik di SD Negeri Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta adalah sebagai pengajar, pembimbing, pelatih, dan evaluator. Proses integrasi pendidikan karakter diupayakan oleh guru melalui model dan materi yang disampaikan dapat dipahami oleh peserta didik dan diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari agar proses pembentukan karekter disiplin dapat tercapai sehingga guru memahami karakter setiap peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran.
