Abstract

Cloud offers numerous services and applications to its customers and those resources can be accessed by the customers anywhere and at any time without any software installation. Apart from the countless benefits it provides some issues such as privacy, data confidentiality, data leakage, data integrity, and security, which are still threatening the cloud. In all the prior works, the user enters into the owners cloud and requests access to the data needed by him, but this paper focus that the user challenge the owner and the requested data are stored in the users’ cloud instead of the owners’ cloud so that high security is maintained by hiding all the other confidential data from the users. We also proposed a secure cloud storage framework with an efficient authentication mechanism that also supports data forwarding functionality. Apart from data forwarding functionality, our method guarantees security with respect to smaller key size and storage consumption and also sends an online alert message if any unauthorized access happens.
