Abstract

One of the sacrifices was given by the Siliwangi Troops who were the frontline security guards in West Java Province. Historical research or what is called histography which aims to analyze the histography of the struggle of the Siliwangi troops during the Revolutionary Period of 1945-1949. The research method used in this paper is histography, which is a systematic research process to comprehensively examine and understand the history or process of past events that had a major influence on the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, in the form of notes and manuscripts about past events with four stages of work starting from heuristics (collection of historical data), historical criticism, interpretation (theoretical views) and historiography. Apart from that, the results of the first research conclusion, are when the revolution occurred in West Java Province, when various fighting events arose and the rebuilding of the Pasundan State as a process to form a Dutch East Indies federation in Indonesia. Second, the two ultimatums of the struggle of the Siliwangi Troops during the revolution were seen in their struggle to carry out the disposition to emigrate based on the decision of the Renville agreement between the State of Indonesia and the Netherlands which occurred on January 17, 1948. The Siliwangi Troops became the pioneers to resolve the Muso PKI rebellion that was struggling in Madiun.
