Abstract

The objectives of this learning in basic competencies must be known, addressed, carried out by students after participating in the learning process. The selection and determination of learning scenarios determines the speed these goals. Involvement of activities, creativity, and the roles of teachers and students determine the quality of learning. Situation response and learning resources in the form of messages, people, materials, tools, techniques and the environment are reference factors in making decisions on the preparation of learning implementation plans. Corona disaster has hit the world which has an impact on learning. Educational institutions take policies so that corona does not spread to educators and education personnel as well as students. One of them is the transfer of face-to-face learning patterns with distance learning with learning resources through communication technology, information and other media. The Science Technology and Society approach is one of the learning approaches applied to the material for making acid-base indicators during the Covid-19 pandemic through LFH (learning for home). Using the environment as a learning resource, students are able to complete the task of making natural indicators from various materials and also apply and contribute to the environment. The acid-base indicator is an organic compound that can change color if the pH value (degree of acidity) changes. The colors of the acid-base test results and natural materials as indicators of nature are very interesting to apply to produce paintings and batik. Keywords:
