Abstract

In order to solve the problem that the LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) cold energy in LNG powered carrier is not used sufficiently, a set of system is designed. This cold storage and air conditioning system is used in LNG powered carrier. At the same time, the refrigerant required by the system is selected and simulate the process of the system by HYSYS. This paper describes the specific process and gives the simulation parameters of each node. The simulation results meet the expected requirements and accord with the actual situation. The main purpose of this system is to reduce energy consumption by using LNG cold energy as a cold source of cold storage and room air conditioning.
