The Spanish press recently introduced its model for information mobility based on applications that attempt to take advantage of the characteristics and singularities of the Smartphone as a "new medium". This article examines the apps of the 20 mastheads most read in Spain to evaluate the extent to which they use that potential (basically multimedia integration, customization, geo-location and participation) as effectively as possible.
