Abstract

Approximately 5% of all primary brain tumors are oli-godendroglial tumors. Their incidence is in the range of 0.5 per 100,000 per year. The median age at diagnosis is 40-45 (www.cbtrus.org). © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
