Abstract

Considering pitch channel simplified model of missile control system, a VSCL(variable structure control law) is designed by using overload and angle velocity signals. Especially, an analysis is proposed for the situation of equal control with uncertainties. An integral action is introduced to compensate the uncertainties and a soft function is adopted to solve the chattering problem of VSC. Finally, an analysis for the chattering problem, the function of integral action and soft function is thoroughly studied. The conclusion shows that the dead zone of soft function is a important factor that affect the chattering phenomenon. And the relationship between the chattering problem and the system gain is revealed. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
