Abstract

The study described in the article is aimed at developing the principles of forming the architecture of a geoportal system as access points to information arrays of spatial data infrastructure form a sufficient level of coordination and communication of participants in various industries to integrate, process and analyze spatial data, providing flexible access to spatial data based on the web-technologies. Two directions of development of the framework of the geoportal system are distinguished: deductive and inductive strategies. Their joint use will provide evolutionary improvement of geoportal systems. In the SDI system, the following bounded contexts for microservices can be distinguished: geoportals, systems for analyzing, processing and control of spatial data and distributed cloud storages. The division into subsystems of visualization, processing and integration of spatial information makes it possible, starting from the top level of decomposition of the system architecture, to achieve an increase in the cohesion of modules and a weakening of the link. The characteristic of the geoportal “The Natural and cultural heritage of the Republic of Mordovia”, which performs the function of managing cultural and historical heritage systems is given.
