Abstract

Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is an accepted treatment for a variety of hematologic malignancies. This risk is much higher than in the general population and requires aggressive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. The chapter will outline the major infections after HSCT.
