Abstract

Concepts naturally have linkages with each other. Their relationships may not be so obvious to students if they are located in different learning sessions. Systematic knowledge management is desirable in learning with the use of technology in which we could control and represent knowledge with different types of connections. This paper introduces a new learning approach supported by the concept of a Knowledge Cluster. A Knowledge Cluster facilitates learning of concepts with focus on understanding the relationship of concepts across different topics, sessions and courses. © 2014 Springer International Publishing.
