Abstract

Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a classical psychosomatic disease within the framework of reference of the so-called biopsychosocial model.1 More than any other disease, it reflects the realities of living in modern society, such as stress, lack of time, competitiveness and excessive ambition, which are all part of the dynamic of success in contemporary cultures. © 2006 Springer-Verlag Milan.
