Abstract

The obsidian production is one of the work processes that allow a good characterization of the Guanches, fist inhabitants of Tenerife (Canary Islands). On this occasion, addresses the geochemical study of the volcanic flows where the main obsidian sources of tire Aboriginal of Tenerife are located: The Tabonal de Los Guanches (Iced de Los Vinos) and the Tabonal Negro, Mna. Blanca (Las Canadas del Teide) characterized as Production Centres. The aim is to establish the compositional differences between tire two in order to trace the distribution of their lithic productions in the island territory and recognize the pattern of supply that was put into practice.
