Analysis and algorithm of load balancing strategy of the web server cluster system

Abstract

In this paper, analyzed the main factors that influence the Web server cluster's performance and the load equilibrium strategy. Furthermore, Proposed an improved Weighted Round-Robin Scheduling strategy algorithm, which help to reasonably allocate the Web clients' request, in order to achieve a dynamic Web server clusters load balancing. Experimental results shown the algorithm for the weighted round-robin policy is feasible. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
