Abstract
46 cysts of the skin received have been studied and classified. Epidermal and pilar cysts are indistinguishable clinically but it is obvious that the epidermal cysts are the most frequent among all the cystic lesions of the skin. It is suggested that the commonly used clinical term 'sebaceous cyst', be replaced by 'epidermal cyst'.
