Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman Peserta didik melalui adanya penerapan model Value Clarification Technique (VCT)  dalam pembelajaran PPKn di kelas V MI Mambaul Ulum Rejomulyo Kota Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Prosedur dan langkah-langkahnya mengikuti prinsip dasar penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan penelitian dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa dengan menggunakan model Pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PPKn materi hak, kewajiban dan tanggung jawab warga negara dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dijelaskan bahwasanya proses pembelajaran PPKn sebelum dilaksanakannya strategi Value Clarification Technique (VCT) di kelas V MI Mambaul Ulum Kota Kediri yaitu memiliki tingkat persentase yang rendah. Nilai yang diperoleh hanya 17,65% . Pada siklus I, hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan dengan angka persentase sebanyak 35,3%. Sedangkan pada siklus II, hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan dengan angka persentase sebanyak 82,35 %. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa.   Abstract This study aims to improve students' understanding through the application of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model in Civics learning in class V MI Mambaul Ulum Rejomulyo, Kediri City. This research uses a qualitative research type. The procedures and steps follow the basic principles of classroom action research. Based on the results and discussion of the research, it can be concluded that using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model can improve students' understanding of concepts in Civics subjects regarding the rights, obligations and responsibilities of citizens in everyday life. From the research results, it has been explained that the Civics learning process prior to the implementation of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) strategy in class V MI Mambaul Ulum Kediri City has a low percentage level. The value obtained is only 17.65%. In the first cycle, learning outcomes have increased with a percentage figure of 35.3%. While in the second cycle, learning outcomes have increased with a percentage figure of 82.35%. The results of this study indicate that the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Learning Model can improve students' understanding.
