Abstract

ABSTRAK Stunting dapat menyebabkan gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada anak. Angka stunting di Indonesia masih cukup tinggi. Salah satu solusi untuk permasalahan stunting di Indonesia adalah pemberian ASI eksklusif. Kandungan dalam ASI dapat berperan sebagai zat pembangun, zat pengatur, dan zat tenaga. Desa Sukajadi, Soreang menjadi salah satu lokasi stunting pada tahun 2022 dengan persentase bayi yang mendapatkan ASI eksklusif 42%. Pentingnya edukasi mengenai ASI eksklusif menjadi salah satu cara pencegahan stunting pada anak. Pelaksanaan edukasi ASI eksklusif pada ibu hamil Desa Sukajadi, Soreang menggunakan metode penyuluhan dengan media flyer. Pengukuran pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi diukur menggunakan pre dan post-test. Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai ASI eksklusif dari 80,88% menjadi 92,7%. Edukasi ASI eksklusif memberikan pengaruh bermakna dan meningkatkan kesadaran ibu tentang pentingnya pemberian ASI eksklusif sebagai langkah pencegahan stunting pada anak. ABSTRACT Stunting can cause growth and development disorders in children. The stunting rate in Indonesia is still quite high. One solution to the problem of stunting in Indonesia is exclusive breastfeeding. The content in breast milk can act as building blocks, regulating substances, and energy substances. Sukajadi Village, Soreang became one of the stunting locations in 2020, with the percentage of babies receiving exclusive breastfeeding at 42%. The importance of education about exclusive breastfeeding is one way to prevent stunting in children. The implementation of exclusive breastfeeding education for pregnant women in Sukajadi Village, Soreang uses the extension method with leaflets. The educational process begins with a questionnaire and also a test. There was an increase in knowledge of pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding from 80,88% to 92,7%. This increases exclusive breastfeeding for infants. Exclusive breastfeeding education has a significant effect and provides awareness of the importance of exclusive breastfeeding as a step to prevent stunting in children.
