The OSTA was developed with the purpose that it might bring structure to this area of organizational activity. Therefore, the OSTA has been investigated based on literature and the methodology was formulated to collect and analyze data. The results of data have been to evaluate and explore how it might contribute to theory and practice in the future. It concludes by discussing several identified themes regarding how and why organizations benefit from using IT PPM. In addition, it reflects on the use of OSTA in this field.
