Uptake on Postmilking Teat Antisepsis

Abstract

A review of postmilking teat antisepsis in the control of mastitis is presented. History, development, and evaluation of teat dipping are summarized. General usage procedures are discussed, and limitations and hazards are described. Current recommendations for development of efficacy data on teat dips are outlined.
