Abstract

In the context of very large and complex systems, object- oriented methods alone do not supply designers with sufficient assets for development and maintenance. We believe that software architecture, providing first solutions to important life-cycle concerns, should add the missing assets. The main purpose of this paper is to show that the two approaches complement each other and to provide first large-grained solutions for integration.
