Abstract

Development of information and communication technologies causes appearance of new various concepts (Internet of Things, e-business, e-government, etc.). The paper proposes an on-going research aimed at integration of the concepts of connected car as a product-service system (system that integrates physical components and electronic services) with e-tourism. The concept and of a system aimed at context-dependent planning and dynamic adaptation of guided tourist rides in a car are described. The system is based on the usage of car connectivity technologies and cloud-based services and is built around the previously developed by the authors tourist support system TAIS.
