Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:To determine the diagnostic accuracy of non-invasive test of liver fibrosis to diagnose oesophageal varices in paediatric or adult patients with chronic liver disease or portal vein thrombosis, irrespective of the aetiology.To determine the diagnostic accuracy of non-invasive test of liver fibrosis to diagnose medium or large oesophageal varices in paediatric or adult patients with chronic liver disease or portal vein thrombosis, irrespective of the aetiology.
