Abstract

Species description for Sturnira lilium, Common Yellow-shouldered Bat. Historical names include Phyllostoma lilium, Sturnira spectrum, P. excisum, P. albescens, P. fumarium, S. lilium, S. angeli, and S. paulsoni. Subspecies recognized are S. l. angeli, S. l lilium, S. l. luciae, S. l. parvidens, S. l. paulsoni, and S. l. zygomaticus.
