Abstract
In the title complex, [ZnBr2 (C12H 9BrN2)], the ZnII ion is in a distorted tetra-hedral coordination environment formed by two imine N atoms of the bis-chelating N-heterocyclic ligand and two Br atoms. The dihedral angle between the pyridine and benzene rings is 8.04 (17)°. © 2009 Khalaj et al.
