Abstract

Dermatology is the study of skin and all its content and research has no boundaries. Clinical dermatology and cutaneous photobiology provided me with rich training to learn the joy and agony of translational research. Using that experience, I initiated three experiments to test various theories, methodologies, and environments for the support of hospital-based interdisciplinary translational research. © 2012 The Society for Investigative Dermatology.
