Abstract

The paper presents the preliminary study results of the influence of the electric current (direct or alternating), the values of voltage and current, the presence or absence of activating additives, and external heating of the mold on the process of cold sintering of ZnO and BaTiO3 powders. The microstructures of the obtained samples are analyzed. Approaches to further research are proposed. The article substantiates the prospects for using electric current in the process of cold sintering of ceramics.
