Abstract

This article aims to analyze the composition and processes of intergenerational social mobility presented by the so-called “creative class” (Florida, 2014) in Buenos Aires. To carry out the study we will used the data source of the “Survey on social mobility and views on the current society” implemented in 2012-2013. Enrolling in the tradition of studies of social stratification and mobility, we use techniques of absolute and relative mobility analyzes, as well as logistic regressions to understand the incidence of certain factors on the probabilities of access to the creative class.
