Abstract

As described in Open Grid Service Architecture(OGSA), Grid Service is static: it is fixed on a grid node machine providing this service without mobility. This paper brings up Grid Mobile Service conception, gives the description of Grid Mobile Service based on Mobile Agent technology, and then discusses the critical factors of Grid Mobile Service and its implementation methods in details. It has great theoretic and practical values on consummating and improving the practicability and flexibility of Grid Service. © Springer-Verlag 2004.
